BTW, my dream was to be an archealogist (sp?). I just realized it a couple of years ago, and I used to think about it alot when I was a kit, but I realize:

1. I’m too old to go to school for it, and
2. I don’t want to live and breath it.

I’m so glad you’re doing something you love.

you’d be amazed at how far Christian music has come. All different types of genre’s, etc. I loved the praise and worship time at my old church. very upbeat and hip.

That’s wionderfull. Hopefully it will bring happiness to your life. Music is awesome. I play the banjo and guitar and there’s nothing I would rather do than be picking!

I went to a church in Vegas that had a band like that – it was AWESOME. (I really need a new word, but am just not the ‘rad’ type.)

Need I say that I LOVE the set list?

My church only plays the traditional organ music on Saturday evenings. That is when the church is mostly filled with Senior Citizens. We have tambourines, guitars, flutes and pianos. They also rotate with clarinets and brass.I love the more contemporary music. I’m glad you’ve found an outlet.

Have you ever considered giving beginners lessons through a local music store?
